Drive side turn signal

Asked by William Apr 04, 2020 at 03:18 AM about the Kia Forte

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2015 Kia forte koup 1.8
I am having a problem with the driver side
turn signal. I replace the bulb as the last one
burned out. Now the parking light side of the
turn signal bulb Burns really bright. And the
bulb burns out very fast. The turn signal
because the bulb is a two-sided bulb is
actually working inside there but the running
light is so bright it literally overpowers the
turn signal. I've tried several different bulbs
and nothing works. So I went to my Kia
dealer and bought a new socket. To no avail.
It does exactly the same thing with the new
socket. There's no way this can be a new
problem I'm sure someone has dealt with
this before. Someone please help me out
with what's going on here
Thanks in advance.
