the beetle is a 1974 model, I have been doing research, I've seen people put subaru engines inside it but also included an adapter, but I don't want a subaru engine mainly because here in South Africa it is expensive. I've heard of people who have put a twin cam toyota engine inside, that is why i asked what is needed because I would like to know if and what else is needed to put a twin cam inside because it is the cheapest engine between all others that may fit. So will it be possible?
