i checked my oil for my vehicle and it has gone down little bit on cross hatches. I;m half way until next oil change is that normal? does it go down abit and when would i have to fill it?

I keep the oil where it's supposed to be , if it gets dark it's time for a change , it'll look worse when it's drained out . If it's not ticking or having problems I wouldn't worry .

Oil consumption will typically increase the older an engine gets. If you are adding a half a quart every 1500 miles, that's not a big problem. If you're adding a quart every 500 miles, that would indicate your piston rings are worn out, or possibly a clogged PCV valve.
