Chevrolet digital display issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a Chevrolet Spark Hatchback 1.0l + 2011,
took it for its first valet yesterday to get fully
cleaned inside and out. When I picked it up and
switched the engine on I noticed that some of the
bars that make up the fuel gauge, mileage and rev
counter were missing. When I asked the guy what
had happened he said that its probably just water
that’s found its way in and that if I dry it out it
should go back to normal but I’m not convinced. I
thought at first that they might have pressed on it
too hard and caused damage to the actual screen
but I don’t know. If anyone has any ideas please
share, I’d like to fix it myself if possible but if all
else fails I’ll have to take it into a garage.

Thanks
