Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am attempting to replace the spark plugs
in my 2013 Chevy spark however I can't get
to the 3 10 millimeter bolts on top facing
rear because there's some sort of air intake
module that I cannot figure out how to get
out of my way please help

do you have a swivel plud socket and or an open side plug socket...send a picture...you didnt even say what your working on..............

I'm working on replacing the spark plugs but I cant get my socket wrench on the remaining bolts near the rear because theres something above it blocking me

take or find a picture on line and when you reply..under the reply box it says >add a photo<

these three bolts here, are blocked by some module on top

Get yourself a 10mm offset wrench. Newegg sells one for $1.50 with free shipping. Once the rear bolts are lose, you can remove them by hand but be careful not to let them drop behind the engine. Trust me that's not good.

Btw, you can also remove the spark plug cover with a flexible extension. Each spark plug has a solid state ignition module on top. Unplug the module from the connector by first pushing back a little red hold-down and then use a small screw driver to lift a second black hold-down that secures the connector to the module. After removing the connector, gently wedge up the ignition module (that connects to the spark plug) and turn it 1/4 of a circle to remove it from under the air manifold. Carefully place the ignition module in a safe place where it won't fall while you replace the spark plug. Look for my YouTube video.
