I dont go by the door sticker i look at the max psi on the tire it will say there it will say max 40 or 35 so on so when it says max for one of thoses presser the ill put 32 for 35 max or 35 for 40 max.

I use the door pressures or what is spelled out in the owners manual.

Yes, go by the door sticker and/or owner's manual. Over inflation will cause the tires to wear unevenly in the center, prematurely, and give you a harsh ride. Under inflation will cause the outside of the tire tread to wear unevenly, prematurely, and cost you gas mileage. If you have to drive to a service facility to add air, increase the tire pressure by 4 PSI. The number on the door jam sticker and owner's manual is for tires that are cold. HTH. -Jim
