blowing hot air, no problem with the flow, blows strong.

Would they be fogging up maybe? Do you smell a sweet smell?

It's about 5 degrees, so ice is building on the windshield and windows. There is no odor, which might be the heater core. maybe excess humidity?

Ya, I figured on the inside, there has to be a lot of moister for some reason, do you let it warm up with the defrost on before you get into the car? Just your breath would make the moister for the windows to ice up.

We have the Defrost fan on Hi and Temp setting on Max Heat. Blows so hot and hard it's suffocating. It's a minivan. The bottom 5 inches of the windshield and the going up and tapering off about 3/4 of the way up is ice. ALL the windows get iced making it extremely dangerous to drive, can't see who is coming when going to make a turn. Just started happening a couple of weeks ago...I've read maybe try cracking the windows and leaving the windows open overnight to get rid ox excess moisture (in a garage)

I live in the cold also, it is -5° right now. I do find driving with the window cracked open in my car does help. Now when I drive my truck on the highway in this type of cold, my window ice up also. Its just cold.

Too much humidity from a leaking heater core.

I also am having the same issue. Any other solutions found other than a leaking heater core? We’ve been told it’s the heater control and can only be fixed from a dealer.
