Grand Caravan radiator temp

Asked by Turtur1981 Sep 24, 2019 at 01:43 PM about the Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: General

Why do Grand Caravans after 2014 run hotter than previous years. I have been driving Caravans since 1992 and none even touched the center line.

1 Answer

The gauge might be calibrated differently if it's one of the C-H gauges, but most likely, it's designed to run hotter for emissions reasons. Heat helps light off catalytic converters in the exhaust system.
