Can't get cap/lid off power steering reservoir.
When I turn power steering reservoir cap,it only turns quarter turn. I press down and turn
but it won't release. Am I doing it right?
so it's a "bayonet" style with fingers that lock into the top...so you've loosened until stop....and it's going to pop off....I'd tap the bottomside to try to "punch" it off....perhaps it has a vacuum holding it on~ you've got to tell us where is the fluid leakin' from~?
okay, it has the dipstick...is plastic...and you need to rotate and pull....as you are doing...perhaps the rubber has gone "gummy" gluing the cap down...you just need to put it the right spot...grab it with a channel locks and pull straight up~ I'd do it myself for you, if I was there~
