I'm pretty sure that engine does not have a carburetor so there will be no mechanical adjustment for the idle speed. But fuel injected cars have an Idle Control Valve (IAC valve) and the idle is controlled by the engine computer. You want to locate that part somewhere near the air intake. Inspect/clean or replace it if it looks stuck/clogged. Or scan for codes.

There is no fuel idle screw. The throttle stop is factory set on the throttle body, don't adjust it. If the idle is too high , check for air in the intake system, like a leak in one of the pipes or hoses.

Mine shoots up to between 2000 to 4000 rpm but only when engine temp rises I disconnected the battery and removed the throttle body and cleaned the sensor when I tried to start again the engine flooded pulled plugs and let the cylinder breathe started again foot down on the accelerator it eventually started but shot back up to 2500 rpm and then 2000 rpm I don't have a code reader and we are in lockdown so I can't take the bakkie to a mechanic I have checked all the vacuum pipes no evidence of leaking I'm running out of ideas
