power steering pump noise

My power steering pump is quiet when car idles or low reving .but when I
drive it makes a zing noise.what could be wrong.

Have you checked the fluid level? Low on fluid can cause noise and damage to the pump.

Dirty filter in the bottle and dirt in the pump causing the bearings to fail.
