why doesn't my right hand turn signal blink?

when I turn on my right hand turn signal, the light comes on but it doesn't blink.

Either the front or back turn signal bulb is out. On some, there are 2 bulbs in the back. Both have to work for the signal to flash. If the left one is working, turn on your 4 way flashers, and compare the two sides front and back. You will find one of the bulbs is not working. That is an almost certainty when it is only one side not flashing.
