I just bought a daihatsu rugger 2.8L TDI in LA. If you find one also I will team up with you.

I have a 92 Rocky SX with bout 95 thousand miles. Might be willing to sell before I start customizing it, everything is still original.

Thank you, im new at these types of forums so not sure how to navigate through them. Im looking to find a place where I could buy accessories for my Rocky, specifically a suspension lift. Do you have any ideas?

I have only owned my daihatsu for about 5-6 weeks, so I'm very new to it as well. It's looking like Rocky parts are more common due to them actually being distributed to the US. Mine is a Japanese import so parts are very hard to come by here as the vehicle is diesel and basically non-existent in the US. There are several breakers and parts dealers in the UK that can potentially help you or try these guys in the North West who deal with US based versions. https://www.facebook.com/Daihatsu-Rocky-Parts-Northwest-Rockpile-Garage- 146224428782715/ I haven't looked up any lift kits other than replacement leafs though. I believe the leaf spring sizes between the different models are the same, but I have seen some differing leaf numbers on the spring packs. Some have 4 + 1 and some have 3+1 leafs. Look up "Kilen 618001" as a part number for compatible leafs, I believe those will fit. The current leafs on mine have 3+1, and the replacements all look to be 4+1. I'm looking at buying some in europe and having them shipped, but shipping from the UK has become very difficult with the virus situation. Milner Offroad carries the leafs and they seem to be one of the more affordable options but they are not currently shipping to the US. The guy I bought my car from was planning on swapping some jeep leafs over to it, but I think that required cutting off and reattaching the mounting points because they were a little longer. Either way, feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. I've been researching the hell out of these things the past couple weeks because I'm stuck in the house with nothing to do. I can upload a folder with repair manuals and links and the info I've gathered so far if you want. My email is kmyers1643@gmail.com

I appreciate the info. It's next to impossible finding parts and accessories for these little trucks, but they are worth the effort.
