2006 Chrysler 300 heat seat will not turn off for driver

Asked by Templetip Jun 28, 2018 at 08:40 PM about the Chrysler 300M

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2006 Chrysler 300 heat seat will not turn off for driver even when the button has
not been pushed.  If I push the button to turn it on and off the light goes on and
off as if it is working.  I start up car and the seat immediately starts to warm up,
what to do, it does not do this for passenger.  Im in Texas and I have never
used the seat heater.

Try pulling the fuse out and it should not work. Replace the fuse with a new one and see if the problem persists. Perhaps you have a wire that got overheated or pinched in that seat assembly. Take to dealer if the fuse idea didn't work. You don't want to risk a vehicle cabin fire while driving.
