Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was talked into going to a new
place for oil change ever since I
left the oil change place I've my oil
has been slowly dripping out of
my vehicle when it comes to a
complete stop when I have my oil
checked I had no oil in my engine I
had to go and put three pints in it
just as last night! What would be
the cause?!?

if it never leaked before the oil change then you likely did not have your filter housing or plug put in correctly. A vw certified shop did my oil once and they did not tighten the filter housing correct on my 2012 jetta it leaked oil half way across canada before i relized it was leaking out. if you r engine was with out oil for any amount of time i would take it back to the garage that did it and demand them replace your engine because no oil can cause alot of damage in a short amount of time. If you do that make sure they don't haggle with settling you with any costs. tell them you are taking it to Volkswagon and they will pay for the repairs.
