Syncing replacement engine to the computer

Asked by barbi Aug 27, 2019 at 11:15 AM about the Chrysler 300

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Chrysler 300m. I replaced the engine
but it wont start. Engine cranks. I'm told I need to
sync the engine to the existing computer. Anyone
know how I do that?

They probably mean a reflash of the computer but if your engine and computer are not compatible it will not run. What engine did you install?

The exact same one I pulled out except it was an 2002.
