i have a 2000 BMW 323i and i changed the radiator the reserve small tank the top hose i bled it added BMW coolant but in a long ride the meter show its hot I disconnected the sensor from the bottom

but the meter still show that the car

once the sensor is disconnected and the fan stays on at all times will that affect the reading of the temperature meter inside the car on the dash board ????
