What can it be when my 2000 Cadillac STS is misfiring. I put the analizer on it and it shows a misfire. Car runs low idle and rough.

I have it on good authority that that the idle air control might be faulty/gummed up~ https://www.google.com/#q=2000+Cadillac+STS+idle+air+control
