I have a 98 cadi sts my windows dont go down i put new master switch,checked all fuses and relays,somebody plz help.i bet its something simple but i cant find the problem.Im in chicago

da motor probably. check ur window motor. if not that check da slides an c if dey got jammed up sumhow.

it's your window motor dude, the bits are probly worn. Your car is out of production, so ordering the new window motor will run you around 30 to 55 bucks, if you go to NAPA they should be cheaper.

I noticed you stated windows. If ALL windows do not operate from any of the door switches then you may have another issue. Check to make sure that the Window Safety Switch is OFF if your Cadi is equipped with that option. Usually on or near the Master swtich. It sounds silly but I work for a Honda Dealership and we have complaints similar to yours that the windows do not operate and 95% of the time the window safety switch was bumped. On some cars, there is some type of controller ( usually a small box ) that also could be bad and affect all window operations. If no luck, talk to a G.M. Technician at a Dealership because they most likely have dealt with this issue many times and could point you in the right direction before you throw more money away. Good luck! //Charlie
