cant figure out why i cant activate car alarm doors trunk ect have a new battary in remote

roll down windows, lock the doors with remote, put key in back pocket or away from car, then unlock door with your finger and open door this should set off alarm, if it does shut off by putting key in door lock and turn it,if horns don't go off check fuses and relays for the horns, or before you test this hit the horn pad to ensure the horn works. good luck.

Oh sorry, you may need to reprogram the keypad refer to owners manual, it's explained in great detail how to do it
