2005 ba xt falcon transmission problem

My ford falcon BA XT 2005
Automatic Transmission.
Having problem is not shifting from
2nd gear to third i my mechanic have
scan it he did not find any problem,
he said all the four solenoid are fine
no code replaced the oil oil filter,
nothing change still the same revers
ok 1st gear ok and 2nd as well but
not shifting to 3rd it driving 45 to
50k/hrs at the RPM of 3000, also
another mechanic checked he said
he did not find any thing on scan but
he said when he remove the cable, of
automatic the Transmission should
go to safe mode and its not going,
Can any body tell me what is wrong
with it.

Sounds like you have the two lamest mechanics on Earth..... Check the transmission to see if the fluid level is correct; that's important, as low fluid is a leading cause of shift problems. It might be wear/leaks in the valve body caused by defective seals & rings. It could be a defect in the PCM or the TCM, or if your speedometer also has issues, it could be a bad VSS. Or it might not be in the transmission itself, but is engine related; like a problem with the TPS or the MAP/MAF sensors. Could even be a bad alternator failing to supply enough current for the systems to run properly.
