not charging
my suburban is not charging changed the alt. and still not charging it starts and runs until the battry goes dead i turn on my lights and the buzzer sounds and the guages do not work anyone have any ideas

there is usually a voltage regulator inline between the alternator and battery. If it goes bad, it won't allow the alt to charge the battery. It has happened to me before.
