Is My Power Steering Pimp faulty?

Hi, my Opel Astra 1.6 Comforter, 2003 Model power steering is working
intermittently and after I switch off, but keep the ignition on the power steering
motor is winding continuously until I switch the ignition off. What could be the
fault PLEASE?

Is your power steering "Pimp" faulty? I have no way of knowing that. Take it to a local mechanic for evaluation.
