Can I take a 350 out of a 1990 and swap it into a
1973 gmc?

Yes u can just change the intake over to a carb style and the two bolt holes next to the carb location on both sides of the intake (being the middle two) cut out the side of each hole to make a slot going to the edge of intake then it will bolt on no problem . Chevy decided to change the angle of those bolts. I have done it multiple times successful
