Reverse is out on pickup

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I could pay an arm and a leg for a new transmission but I know reverse does
not normally go first there has to be a way. to fix 97 gm  4x4

There is a way to fix it but that involves a used or rebuilt transmission. Take it to a transmission shop and maybe they can repair the reverse problem without a full rebuild.
