When I hit my brakes they come on but my running, or parking lights, also come on?

First thank you for your time. Was about to drive myself crazy looking through everything. Had the dash off , started looking through all grounds, and was almost ready to start ripping wies out before a buddy of mine saw that the rear end of the harness was all but detached, plugged back together and everything works like new, Lmao. Hope someone else sees this and checks their connections first. Thank you for what you do.
