How do you disconnect the gas tank from the filler neck & gas cap area?

I have everything else disconnected but I cannot disconnect the gas tank from
the neck that leads to the gas cap.  Any ideas??

You'll probably have to cut the hose longways to get it to come off. Those filler tube hoses are a standard replacement item and a new one can be bought from your local auto parts store. Keep a piece of the old one to match up. We carry them at NAPA where I work. They're sold in 3 foot sections. HTH. -Jim
