Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have a new  2018 Ford E450 Motorhome,
and the chassis battery  discharges after
sitting for four to five days. We have
checked to make sure everything is
completely off.  We spoke to the Ford
Service department, they said call the RV
Dealer. We spoke to the RV Dealer and they
said a Ford problem.  Had anyone heard of
this problem?

My cousin had that problem caused by short in a ground wire, he did the repair himself. In your case the motor home is new and under warranty, now your problem is who is going to take care of the repair. Check the warranty documents, Ford and RV dealer, read what is covered and who is responsible for what. With Ford, speak to the Service Manager and find the address for the Ford District Office in case you do not get any satisfaction. With the RV dealer, follow same procedure and let them know you will contact the local Better Business Bureau with a complaint. And do not forget to tell them that you will reach to your social media contacts with feed back about their customer service. Word of mouth is a very powerful weapon in this age of instant communication.
