installing a power seat in a Ford E 450 super duty adventurer motor home
I have just bought a 2007 Adventurer class C motor home on a 2006 Ford E-450 chassis. I bought a
power base that the wrecker said would just bolt onto the original seat and bolt holes---not so!I am only
4' 9" so do need a power seat, hate cushions.suggestions please
check to see if you can drill new holes in the seat to line up with the original bolt pattern. drilling holes in the truck can be an issue due to what may be under the floor. drilling new holes in the seat won't diminish the structural integrity enough to worry about and you can use original bolts to secure it. hope this helps with your project. --by the way, run your wiring before you set the new seat! that way it won't get in the way when you try to pull the wire under the carpet :D good luck!
Thanks so much ,this gives me an idea of the work involved
