What's the best repair manual for my 1999 GMC Safari passenger minvan, AWD?

I'm looking to replace part number 12376609, which is the D.I.C. (Driver Information Center) MODULE, that is part of the overhead console.

My D.I.C. had an "internal failure", so I need a "new" D.I.C. module.

I'll be going to junk/salvage yards with my hubby, and a repair manual with readable schematics could be helpful, since we are not mechanics!

Went to a junkyard and bought a used overhead console, since I didn't know how to remove just the DIC module. Result was--the "new" overhead console (containing the "new" DIC module) worked! Now, I can read outside temperature, compass direction, and miles per gallon, etc.
