I have a 2004 GMC envoy the transmission just stopped going into to 3rd gear we took the pan off and nothing was in the bottom cleaned the filter and it still will not go into 3rd gear

We was driving on the hwy and locks went crazy and trans seems in limp mode and barely any throttle response abs,engine lights came on but brakes work fine

Has anyone gone threw a thing where your trans kicks u out of over drive after a few miles and how can I resolve this
