1M coming?

Question type: General

I have heard from a variety of sources (Jalopnik, Car & Driver, Automobile Magazine) that BMW has a M version of the 1 in the works. Do you think this will actually happen or is it just rumors? I'm interested. Here is a computer generated image of the possible future 1 series M.

I'd say the 135i is the 1M. Would be hard to create a better car on the same chassi.

Maybe you read about it but it refers to the super car from the 80's and not a 1 series m version.
