I have a 2007 chevy silverado classic 4.3. Will not start.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It died going down the road now it will not start. it turns over fine. I have changed the
altinator, fuel pump, coi, distributer, distributer cap and rotor, crank sensor, idle air control
sensor and cleaned the trottle body. Help!!!

have you replaced your spark plugs? also check your fuel filter, also if you have fuel injectors it may be that as well. I am no mechanic and has been a long while since I worked on vehicles. I hope this may help

Spark plugs changed and wires. This truck doesn't have a filter it has the canister and that was cleaned. Did a pressure test held 62 running and after you turn it off. This was done after it started bogging. Could not get a spark when it died this last time. I have tried everything.

Did you ever find out what was wrong with it because mine is doing the exact same thing??!! Help please!!

You simply need to replace the distributer cap and roster These problems all are the cap and roster. Trust me take them off and look at them you will see they are burnt up. Your distributer is not getting a good ground Replace them and ground your distributer and everything will be good after you do that ! ! ! ! ! !
