where is the ignition module located on a 1994 chevy lumina car

i had mine replaced only to find out it is not the problem, i want to take it off and get my money back

You might as well forget that idea. No automotive repairshop, autoparts store or car dealership will take back a return on ANY electrical part. That's common practice. They will exchange it only for another one of the same if it's faulty, but NO REFUNDS ON ANY ELECTRICAL PARTS is the norm and it's been that way forever no matter where you bought it from..

Let me get this straight...you want to go through the pita work and hassle of reinstalling your 18 year old ignition module... which you don't even know where it is located on your car (what... no Haynes manual?) ...so you can then go through the hassle of trying to return the new one?!?! Why don't you consider the New one an Update/Upgrade... move on... and do something better with your time... clean up your ol' lady there, and maybe slap a coat of wax on her.
