It is attached by bolts or screws to the fan shroud or the radiator itself. There just may be other parts to the engine that may have ot be removed or pushed aside to get it out. Have fun. You might take a picture so you know what goes where when re-assembling it.

After you disconnect the wire plug at bottom there are 3 bolts holding the shroud in place. after that there is a metal long bracket at top of radiator holding radiator in place and a couple more bolts for the hold down straps for radiator. Without taking ALL the bolts and metal brackets off you wont be able to move radiator very far and CAN NOT get the fan out because of exhaust manifold in the way and the radiator hose. Taking the radiator brackets out and letting it push back is the only way we got our fan and shroud out. Hope this helps you.
