Well transmission from 94 cavalier  6cyl  
interchange with a 96 cavalier 4 cyl

Nope You have two totally different operating systems, the 94 is OBD 1 and the 96 is OBD 2, it might look the same it might even both up but no way to control it.

And I cannot trade out brains cause it's a 6 to a 4 correct ?? What if I put that 4cyl and it's tranny in would that work if I charged out brains or is that too much BS to go threw for pourer performance ? ? ?

You would have to do all the engine management system wiring also, a real nightmare.
