I have a 2005 Ford Explorer and all power windows have stopped working.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It was patchy at first and now they are just dead.  I have checked the fuses and even the breaker for the power window relay.  What is my next step?

Quite likely it's the Driver's Door (Master) switch. There are other components to consider but that's the most common to fail. The Body or GEM module is another but check at the switch to see if you have power coming into and out of the switch with a test light first.

Pull the rubber boot in drivers door. It's a broken wire guaranteed

Same problem here. Started out with me having to open my door to roll down/up my windows and then it just quit. Guessing the wires within the doors?

Changed the switch and still not working. Getting power to window motor from switch on the hot side. Not the neg side
