1995 Chevy Lumina, been parked for 5 years, ran like a champ before it was parked, will not start now

Starting fluid will make it fire but it wont stay on even when i press the gas, I would like some suggestions on what to try, to get it to run... thanks!

You will need to check the fuel pressure at the rail, sounds as if the fuel pump is not working, or you may have a clogged fuel filter...

Ok will check out the filter first, and if that is not it, is the fuel pump inside the gas tank in this car?

I have a '99 Chevy Lumina LTZ, and for the first couple of years that I had it it would never really heat up until the past two years, when I noticed the temperature gauge actually moving. Anyway, when it heats up(needle in the center or right in the gauge), my car shakes and it shifts really hard. Any ideas?
