does anyone else seem to have a problem with the heat shield on the cat converter make a vibration sound??

It could be the heat sheild, but check the weld on the pipe in that area also. I will rattle more at an idle......

my 97 does that and i looked and all it was is the exhaust weilds right behind my flowmaster had broke lose i would check the exhaust before the sheild you could have a lose mount some where or if its aftermarket it could be vibrating against the car

check your muffler mount behind the cat, your exhaust is most likley sitting on the cross member as my 95 camaro stock exhaust mount was warn it sounds like the cat but itsnt
