Running rough before dying

Asked by Guru1MKTZ Sep 29, 2019 at 09:35 AM about the 1996 Chevrolet Lumina

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced the thermostat on a 1996 chevy lumina.  Put
it back together,  and start it up it runs rough for few
seconds then dies. Crank it again, and give it some gas, it
revs up and sticks, or without touching the pedal then dies.
What could be the problem?

I had that too after replacing the thermostat. it's a vacuum line. I'll post a picture of it in a little bit. :)
