2005 ford exscape transmission

My 2005 exscape just stopped going when i shut it
off wait a few minutes and turn it back on it will
move for a few minutes then stops again. Is my
transmission shot out does it found like it could be
a sensor

Could be electrical or mechanical in nature, nothing you can check at home, have it towed to your mechanic so they can diagnose the issue.
