Replace alternator

I just replace a starter and alternator and still won’t.
My lights are on but every time I crank it won’t even
make a sound,pop or indicating that’s the battery
dead. Any suggestions ASAP

So how to check the short in the ignition it the battery is old and I’ve been told a charge battery doesn’t mean a good battery right?
