signs of a low/flat battery on my Corsa

Asked by TJord123 Jun 27, 2013 at 04:52 AM about the Vauxhall Corsa

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,

my vauxhall corsa (2003) wouldn't start up this morning. I can turn the key but the engine won't fully kick in. I assume it is a low battery? Also, when I turned the key the accelerator wouldn't work. Is that normal for a low battery?

Thanks

it takes more power to fire up a fuel injected car- the FI electronics have to be juiced to work- so even if the engine is turning slowly, the spark won't be sufficient to light it up
