go to a dyno shop where they will do it 4 u at a price though. you would have 2 get a bigger camshaft/lifter kit. the lobes on the cam will have a bigger duration to open the intake valves more. have to get either a modded chip for the computer or buy a piggy-back ECU thats a plug and play system. Venom makes a decent control module 4 this kind of setup. tighter timing chain/belt. i mean unless ur doing a big hp build, theres no reason to worry about timing at all. with the stock internals alone and a decent size turbo, u make about 8-9 psi, ur set for about 292-303hp gain without any major upgrades. it doesnt really hurt anything at all honestly. in fact, there is a cavalier on youtube, same setup as urs, a year older, and it makes this theory true. look it up, type in cavalier on 8 psi and it will come up as a video of a dynomometer. actually the turbo spools up very beautifully.

this guy doesnt know what he is talkin about they make kits that cost 2500-3500, and have fuel upgrades and all the pipng and boltons to run a turbo and on that 2.2 you will pick up about 100hp with a super16G turbo boosting 9psi, that will bring your cavi upto a rated 220hp, but that car will lose power through the transmission, it will make about 200to the wheels

im not sure about boosting those ln2's, head flow is kinda crappy, and the rod/pistons arent tough enough for boost get an ecotec swap, sure it will cost more but youll get a way much higher hp gain

Have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier 2.2 Ecotec putting a turbo on it do I need to do anything with the PCM

You will probably need a custom remap done on a dyno.

I think you will need to do a lot of internet searching. Try speed shops. Not too many people mod a car like yours.
