mazda 3 won't srart

Asked by jmg3719 Jul 05, 2016 at 09:05 PM about the 2008 Mazda MAZDA3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving my mazda (manual
transmission) the cars speed and RPMs
dropped to 0. It happened while driving in 5th
gear. It occurred like 3 times and now the
car will not start at all.

The battery seems to be working fine and
I've even cleaned the battery terminals.

I've had the starter tested and the starter
is working fine.

Now I have no possible idea what could be
wrong.

Check the fuel pressure at the fuel railPSI possible the fuel pump has gone 100% failure!..Also, have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. write them down.
