I TOOK THE CAR TO A DEALER WHEN IT FROZE UP APPROX 1 1/2 YRS AGO.  DEALER CHECKED SYSTEM, NO PROBLEMS, STATED IT COULD FREEZE ON A HOT AND HUMID DAY.  I LIVE IN ATLANTA SO THAT'S MOST DAYS.

my 2008 did this also. (while traveling through atlanta). it was fine the next day as the ice had melted. when i got back to town, i went to the dealer who then installed a resistor to keep the a/c cycling and not constantly "on." it never froze over again.
