Saw smoke and pulled over and transmission fluid pouring out underneath
Backed out of my driveway put it in drive and truck
sounded like it was ticking when I gave it gas a
little sluggish I hot down the street when I noticed
smoke coming from underneath pulled over and
transmission fluid was pouring out from
underneath and it was all over my under carnage
when I got back home I noticed it started as soon
as I put the truck in drive cause I saw the trail of
Find the leak! Don't drive it until this is fixed unless you want a new transmission.
Check to see if one of the transmission cooler lines has sprung a leak.
Bob has a point and Oldsorgnpower has a good point too but if it's the front seal there's a reason, the bearing in the front bearing( cam bearing type ) in the front pump is worn this can be confirmed by the ridges on the torque converter input sleeve!! Just replacing the front seal won't fix the under lying problem for long ( About 6 months } A correct fix would be to replace the following parts ( torque convertor , Front pump bearing . Front seal and retaining clip
