my 2008 toyota prius car would not lock with the remote when I parked it. It was working fine before. I've tried both remotes but it will not work. What is wrong?

Do you mean that it won't lock when you press the buttons on the remotes or that it won't lock when you press the black buttons on the outside door handles? If neither works, the batteries inside the remotes may need to be replaced. They are inexpensive and easy to replace with youtube and a small phillips screwdriver. If the buttons on the remotes work but the black buttons on the outside door handles don't your batteries could be low, someone may have accidentally pressed the button under the steering wheel that turns off the SKS smart key system, or your Prius may think that a smart key is inside the car.
