It is nice to have a test light for checking for power when looking at this, could be just burnt out bulbs or the bulbs just not making contact in the bulb socket, so just try moving them around in the socket with the tale lights on, or then follow the wiring back to the plugins, take them apart, make sure there is power there, clean the plugins & plug back together, or check the fuse. Just have to track it down.
