Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Motor shake really bad after hearing a slight tap takes a
lot to restart and I'm leaking oil around a spark plug

sound like u need valve cover gasket ..replace spark plug while u at it ....oil leaking on top of the plugs will cause hard to start as well shakes ....

So you don't think that it's a failed cylinder rod or worse???

When was your last tune up? Tune ups need to be done every 30 months or 30,000 miles. Whichever comes first. A complete tune up consists of new spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and distributor rotor. Sounds like you have a leaking valve cover gasket as well. HTH. -Jim
